In 2009, Matteo Nunziati Studio, a leader in international hospitality, designed the interiors of Fraser Suites, a 5-star hotel overlooking the West Bay waterfront in Doha. The 50-story residential tower houses 388 apartments and common areas, reinterpreting Arab elements with Italian elegance.
The concept combines Middle Eastern tradition with contemporary design, creating sophisticated and functional spaces. For this project, Nunziati collaborated with top brands, including Fiandre, which supplied large-format ceramic surfaces for the most prestigious areas.
Marmi Maximum slabs (300×150 cm, 6 mm thick) in porcelain stoneware cover lobbies, restaurants, and lounges. Travertino Maximum gives the lobby warm tones inspired by desert sand, Calacatta Maximum enhances the brightness of the restaurants, while Gold Onyx Maximum adds exclusivity to the 32nd-floor lounge. The large format reduces joints, amplifies spaces, and ensures visual continuity.
Beyond aesthetics, the surfaces offer lightness, durability, easy maintenance, and installation even on existing surfaces, making them ideal for high-end projects. Fiandre supported the project with technical assistance and consulting, confirming the quality of Made in Italy and the ability to combine beauty and performance.
