The Gaggenau Flagship Store in Chengdu, designed by the einszu33 studio, is an experiential space that blends the precision of German design with elements of Chinese tradition. Inspired by the siheyuan typology, it spans over 530 m² and introduces the innovative “dining-in” concept, featuring a restaurant, a professional kitchen, and a private room for culinary events.
Fiandre ceramic surfaces play a key role in the flooring and in defining the visual identity of the showroom: the large slabs, selected for their technical performance and contemporary materiality, help emphasize the understated elegance of the project while enhancing the brand’s aesthetic language. The uniformity of the surfaces and the refinement of their textures create continuity across the different areas, making the experience immersive and consistent with Gaggenau’s premium image.
Located within Chengdu IFS, the flagship store becomes a meeting point between Sichuan’s culinary culture, European design excellence, and the distinctive quality of Fiandre ceramics.
