The TAYS-F Pavilion is an integral part of the Tampere hospital complex in Finland and represents an example of contemporary healthcare architecture, where aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability merge into an innovative project. Built with the contribution of ABL Finland OY, the pavilion stands out for its modern lines and the use of cutting-edge materials.
The ventilated façade is clad with large Fiandre Active Surfaces ceramic slabs, supplied by ABL Finland OY, covering a total surface of over 2,200 m². The chosen shade, Uni Ice Maximum, gives brightness and purity to the building, creating an elegant and contemporary visual impact.
The added value of Active Surfaces® is crucial: thanks to photocatalytic technology, these surfaces provide a self-cleaning action, reducing maintenance needs and the use of chemical detergents, and an anti-pollution effect, capable of breaking down harmful agents that settle on the surface. In a hospital context, where environmental quality is a priority, these features help create healthier and more sustainable spaces, improving the well-being of patients and staff.
The TAYS-F Pavilion is therefore a virtuous example of architecture that combines design, technology, and environmental responsibility, thanks to the synergy between designers, suppliers, and innovative materials such as Fiandre Active Surfaces®.
