n Cape Town, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the 214 sqm President Penthouse offers a spectacular view, the focal point of the project by KMA – Ben Kotlowitz and Niche Interiors – Judith Hendry.
The renovation transformed the apartment into an open, bright space where indoors and outdoors merge seamlessly. White tones and minimalist lines create a modern, relaxing atmosphere, letting the ocean dominate every perspective.
For the floors, the architects chose large Fiandre slabs from the Calacatta Statuario Marmi Maximum collection (300×150 cm), expanding spaces and ensuring visual continuity with minimal joints. The marble’s brightness enhances the owners’ contemporary art collection and interacts with natural light and water reflections.
Beyond aesthetics, the satin finish reduces glare, offering a relaxing environment, easy maintenance, and anti-slip properties. The 6 mm thick slabs were supplied by Studio Masson, Fiandre’s exclusive partner in South Africa, introducing an innovative format to the local market.
